Transitioning from Full Coverage
For guests ready to move away from solid gray coverage, we gradually progressively soften the grow-out over a series of appointments using hand-painted lowlights in the new growth.
This is a controlled, intentional process that allows your color to evolve naturally—creating a softer, more blended result while maintaining the integrity of your hair.
During the transition, appointments are typically scheduled more frequently to progressively soften the line of demarcation. Once the desired blend is achieved, you may choose to let your color grow out fully or move into a lower-maintenance gray reduction schedule.
Gray Reduction
For ongoing, low-maintenance results, we use hand-painted lowlights to create soft dimension with a seamless grow-out.
This approach allows you to wear your gray naturally with subtle to moderate reduction—creating a softer, more refined look over time.
Appointments are typically spaced every 3–6 months, depending on your preference and desired level of coverage.
