Courtney has been part of Pura Vida Color Studio since 2012 and is known for refined, natural-looking dimensional color guided by disciplined tonal balance.

She creates dimensional color through strategic highlighting or lowlighting, recommending tones that complement a guest’s natural base while preserving long-term hair integrity. Her work favors refined contrast over dramatic extremes.

Guests appreciate her steady, detail-driven approach and consistently polished results.

Born and raised in Detroit and a graduate of the University of Michigan, Courtney combines strong local roots with advanced education. She is recognized by the Board of Certified Haircolorists and has been voted “Best Hairstylist” multiple times in Current Magazine’s Best of Washtenaw County.

She also enjoys working with natural texture and curls, enhancing movement while maintaining integrity.

As a Success Leader within the studio, she mentors fellow stylists and reinforces the high standards that define Pura Vida.
